What is coaching?
As your coach, I will partner with you in a creative process that you will lead. Together, it will be our intent to imaging new possibilites and unlock your potential. We will spend our time on three main activities.
Discovering and clarifying what it is you want to acheive.
Distilling strategies and uncovering solutions for the way forward.
Holding you accountable for your decisions and goals.
At its core, coaching is the activity of helping you get from where you are now to where you want to be. I am so excited to join you on your path.
Are Coaching and therapy the same?
No, coaching is not therapy and is not a replacement for therapy with a licensed mental health clinician. While I would be happy to work with you alongside any clinical therapy you are providing, if I feel our discussion of a topic would be better served by a clinician, I will gently inform you. We will work creatively to find new perspectives and new dimensions that will be best served in a coaching setting.Â
Is Coaching for me?
As coaching focuses on taking you from where you are now into the future you imagine, coaching can be for anyone. If you're not sure what you should do next, we can spend time exploring all your possibilities. Additionally, coaching can be particularly helpful for those in the midst of a big transition or who are feeling stuck in a rut with their routine. If you want a partner in the process of making intentional, deliberate steps in the direction of your future, coaching is for you.
